About Bailey

Bailey and I worked together on several "blobby" projects for Fortune 500 clients: unstructured projects that hadn't been done before. I knew I could trust her to solve problems, make good recommendations, and make it happen. She actively asks for feedback and incorporates it right away, so the team can get better faster. She's a proactive and clear communicator, exercises good judgment and gets stuff done. I really enjoyed working with her and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Bailey has developed and implemented marketing programs for companies diverse in both size and industry over the last 13 years:

  • Fortune 500 company,

  • disc golf equipment manufacturer,

  • realtor,

  • boutique web development agency,

  • and over the past year, a joint project with Motsinger CPA Tax & Accounting and the Kansas Department of Transportation.

In marketing and operations roles, she guides procedures and processes, provides insight into organizational planning, and loves collaborating on creative projects. She hasn't worked regularly in an office since 2012.

Bailey's degree in strategic communications from KU built the foundation for a career focused in social media marketing until, in 2020, she realized she did not want to learn TikTok and wanted to spend less time on social media apps.

She shifted her focus to learning photography and strengthening her writing habit. Currently, Bailey helps small business and community clients develop and execute email marketing programs and shape community development programs. She serves on the board for the Lawrence Community Nursery School as Development Director and has previously volunteered for Relay for Life of Douglas County, Girl Scouts of America, and Citizens Climate Lobby.

For 4 1/2 years, Bailey traveled the country in a camper with her family, including the first year of her daughter's life. If you have questions about this lifestyle, she'll tell you everything you want to know and probably some stuff you hadn't thought to ask. Sharing information and thinking about things in different ways is one of her greatest pleasures in life.

Bailey lives in Lawrence, Kansas with her daughter. She likes hiking, doing yoga, reading, and dreaming about summers in the Pacific Northwest. She has yet to stand up on her paddle board but enjoys taking it out on the water anyway.
